We are pleased to share with you our magazine, The IGS Geode, showcasing some of the Iowa Geological Survey’s activities during the past year. This year we are highlighting our efforts to quantify the groundwater supply in the Iowa River alluvial aquifer, as well as other projects focused on quantifying nutrient reduction practices and levees, assessing critical mineral and energy resources, geologic mapping, and other interesting projects and activities.
