What are your responsibilities with the IGS?

I serve as the office administrator/accountant for the Iowa Geological Survey. I keep an eye on everything from ordering office supplies, to reconciling accounts, and projecting future expenditures.

How does your work affect the public?

I help facilitate the connection between the public and our staff through our website, social media accounts, and phone line.

What is your academic and professional background?

I have a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Iowa, and have worked for the university for the past 15 years in various administrative and accounting positions.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy gardening, reading, and family history research during my non-working hours.
